I appreciate that he has a Bible reading plan to go with the devotionals, and simple prompts that are proving good for my journaling. Each day I ask myself, after reading, meditating, and praying:

How is God calling me to think differently today?
How is he re-ordering my loves today?
How should I act today?

There’s an audiobook too, read by the author and with singers singing the hymns and carols. A lovely companion.

I’m thinking of starting a new book-themed blog (or maybe reviving/revising my old one.)

What sort of bookish content do you think is missing in the book blogosphere, that you’d like to see?

My goal is to read slowly, about one prayer a day.
