I really like how this is all starting with them as adults, cause that's the part of the story that I know nothing about - this is going to be a very long read though...

I'm kind of wishing I didn't watch the film version of this book this morning, cause it's kind of taking away from everything that's happening. I don't know if that's the reason, but I'm not annoying this as much as John Greens other books

I'm so nervous for the ending of this book and I really want to finish it now, but I'm absolutely shattered, so I guess the fate of the world will have to wait until morning

I wish when you were buying books online they'd come with a little warning to say they're written in the first person, or a snippet so that you'd know beforehand, because I'm only ten pages in and my excitement to read this book has already dropped

I actually kind of love the whole footnote writing style of this? At the switch between past and present is really interesting too!

This whole thing is so frustrating to read because you know it's not going to end well but there's nothing you can do about it. Here's hoping my copy is somehow magically different to everyone else's and the whole series ends up being about Sam instead of Celaena
