Onto part two! I was reading out in the park today since the weather was beautiful, definitely going back tomorrow if the sun doesn't decide to disappear again

I watched all of the TV adaptation to this book yesterday and I thought it was brilliant - I was going to read the book first but a few people convinced me not too, so that I wouldn't already know what was going to happen with the plot. I'm really glad that I didn't read the book first, because already it's so much less detailed than the show, and it feels really different.

Happy Release Day to Waking Gods! I absolutely loved Sleeping Giants, so I can't wait to dive into this one!

I just finished Part one of this book and I'm really loving it so far! Lazlo is a really interesting character so far, and even though there was a lot of info dump at the start it didn't feel too heavy and I'm so intrigued to find out more about this world!

I'm still not liking the writing style, but damn if this book isn't going to make be cry soon

I don't know why my last update cut off, I had said more than that, but first person books bug me for some reason. I always find it a lot harder to actually get into the story, so I'm really hoping that doesn't happen with this one.

I stopped reading this last year because I couldn't get into the story, but it really want to finish it so I'm giving it anger go - picking up from where I left off, hopefully I won't be lost!

I love the flash-backs/flash-forwards in this book, I think if I ever get round to writing something of my own, I'd love to try and do it in this way - it's so gripping!

(38 tabs so far - I feel like this book is going to be more post-it than paper once I'm done)

I'm currently using Vicious as the basis for my next university project, so it seemed like a good idea to re-read it and make sure I make notes of the bits of information that I'm going to need - I'm only 24 pages in and I forgot how great this book is, i'm so excited to get back into the story!
