This has a weird stop-start energy? I can’t put my finger on it really.

This one might be the most ridiculous one I’ve read yet.

I got to talking to my librarian friend about the similarities between Reacher and Murderbot and it made me miss Reacher so here I am, hip deep into another improbable adventure with my favorite massive neurodivergent action hero.

It’s kind of amazing how Wells can expand outward into a full novel format but still make the whole thing feel and read crazy brisk.

I love how Burroughs is just barreling through some genuinely crazy set pieces and then is like, “oh, yeah and then Tarzan’s milksop of a cousin shows up”

Kinda crazy how like…bonkers violent this is.
