slower going than the movie, maybe just because it's getting a little difficult to read and understand what's going on that ISN'T just in these characters' heads (my, they're all so self-centered it's ridiculous. Are all college students like this? answer- yes). Fun to read though :)

Liking it so far. As much as I hate saying it, it kinda helps that I've seen the movie, and love it so much. This is very much stream of consciousness, and done so through the eyes of college students, often under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Makes for a really good story though, fun and fast paced.

Greek and Roman mythology are both awesome. Plus this book is written for children, so it's a pretty quick and easy, fast paced novel. I like the stream of consciousness style of writing, transferring perspective from Percy to Frank to Hazel. I just like getting into the characters' heads in any book, finding out more about them from themselves.

This is an outstanding, well written and addictive book. I am so drawn to the mysteriousness of this circus, and the drama and thrill of the competition between Marco and Celia. Can't wait to see how it goes.

This is such a well-written mystery-suspense. I'm on edge with the end of every chapter, and Will Lavender knows just the adjectives to use in this book (i.e. the 'knife blade of moonlight') to really instill the murder and mystery throughout the story. Really looking forward to continuing to read Dominance this week.
