Also listened to "Father Internet" which I liked a lot more. The message I got from this story was to stop focusing on whatever it is you're focusing on, and just enjoy yourself and live in the moment. You'll be more relaxed and fun, and may even get to dance and have fun with some attractive women! You know, instead of sitting in the bar waiting for your iPhone to load with YouTube clips of how to appeal to women

Just finished "The Natural Celebrity"- whatdahell. This was a comedy that I just kinda sat and stared blankly as I listened to it. IT'S ABOUT A POOP CONTEST. Idk I think I missed the point of this one. Is it that people will applaud someone for being the best at something, regardless of what that 'something' is? I think I was too caught off guard by this story to properly appreciate it..

Alright, just listened to "The Corporate Afterlife" and am feeling a little ambivalent about it. I like Fleming's take on the afterlife, and how people would react to their own untimely deaths. But, I can't admit to being a fan of the massive amounts of repetition in this story. A little bit would have been alright, and add to the experience, but this was kind of overkill. Listening on though :)

Just finished listening to the first story, "Robot Famous". I kind of feel sorry for Susan, being a 'real human' and all that. Of course, society is all about perfection, not aging, and selling stuff. So we're probably not too far off from replacing our celebrities with robot celebrities..

Little nervous with this book, as this will be my first experience with audiobook format and I hope I'm not prejudiced toward/against this author's work simply because I don't like the format I 'read' this book in. We'll see..

Yeah, having trouble putting this down. It's enthralling and so, so funny. Can't wait to keep reading it.

This is starting to get painfully drawn out again... I really just want to see the story finish so I can move onto other series/books. As much as I'll miss Roland and his ka-tet, there's no action right now, only tedious story-telling.

Okay, I concede defeat. This collection of stories is somewhat over the top, but still hilarious. And I do recall the TMZ story about it taking 5 bouncers to boot him from the convention he was at, hahah.
