HOORAY! My local library reopens TODAY!

APRIL FOOL'S!

I am NOT dating Cassandra Cillian; she is a fictional character from TNT's "The Librarians"!

(If you haven't seen that show, you should try it; it's a good one!)

I also am NOT dedicating the month to sports; I never have been a sports fan!

My actual theme for this month will be Christian fiction; I hope to use Christian-themed media--not just novels--to get closer to God this month.

Also, my literary theme for the month of April is...SPORTS!

(Surprising, huh?)

While there aren't any live sports on television these days, there are plenty of books and movies about them available various places.

Any suggestions for sports-themed literature or films I should try?

We've been secretly dating for a while, but, she told me I could share it with the world...so, I am!

As you may have guessed, she is a librarian...but, at a different sort of library.

My dad got home from the hospital on Thursday, and I thought I would be cleared to go back to work...

...until today, when I found out that I have to be under quarantine again for two weeks after the date he came home.

So, looks like I'll be doing a lot of reading and TV watching over the next ten days.

The good news is: One, I'm already four days into the two weeks (YAY!), and, two, my dad is doing much better.

It looks like I’m going to have more reading time in the near future.

My dad has come down with the Corona virus, which means he, my mom, and I are under quarantine for the next two weeks.

I’m glad I’ve stocked up on media over the years.

As I celebrate turning thirty-two years old today, I look back and realize that I have made serious strides for the better in recent years. It's all thanks to digging into God's Word and being determined to improve myself His way...which is something that we all should strive to do.
