Nothing worse than talking to a "cleaner" about some work you want done, only to realize he thinks you want your husband dead and you really want his girlfriend taken out of the picture. Totally awkward!!!! You think that would be the first thing you'd kind of sort of mention. Note to self just in case!!!

I can't even fathom the nightmare of a child going missing - the constant reliving, blaming, questioning, wondering if they are hurt, scared, being abused, or were killed. I don't know how anyone would carry on. I'm just sick to my stomach right now.

Oy this chick is D.U.M.B. He wants to move in with you right away, marry you almost immediately, has every excuse why you can't meet his family, his mother conveniently ends up dead when he can't put off meeting her any longer, doesn't want kids, doesn't pay any of the bills because you're covering now and he's saving for your future. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it ain't a thoroughbred horse!

I haven't enjoyed a book this much in a long time!!

Well that escalated quickly!

Arggghhhh....I am so angry that all the people touching this woman's life are failing her. Sure, she's not doing herself any favors by staying, but I sure see how she feels that's her only choice. But....I sense she's been pushed too far and shiznit is about to get real!!

What a horrible, abusive, piece of shiznit man. I could easily kill him myself. And she is so beaten down and subservient!!!

I feel like I should be reading this tucked away in a corner so no one can see me reading it. It's uncomfortable because it's so obvious what is happening, but also so understandable as to why a 15 year old girl would see it so differently.

Oh my gosh...the angst of young, unrequited love. It hurts my heart like I was going through it myself. I'm about to put this book in the corner for a timeout so it can think about what it's done!
