It's hard picking up Book #2 when you read Book #1 so long ago. I really wish authors would always summarize the previous book in the follow-ups to help us remember key things.

So the answer is yeah...Luke Lane can be redeemed, and he can make my all misty-eyed. I haven't swooned for him yet, but I'm not sure I'll be holding out much longer.

Strange writing style...but the message. Ahhh, the damn message. Yanno, just because you're fat doesn't mean you're less than, or not worth as much, or deserve a good life. People are so cruel - whether it's weight or a million other reasons that make us different. Gaaaah.
