This book is really fast paced and I hope to hell that people get their comeuppance.

I've realized that I really hate books where women get gaslighted. It's happening during this one, and it honestly enrages me even though I know the plot revolves around it.

Okay, even I know this police officer is shady AF and he just planted marijuana in her car.

This sister relationship is super unrealistic. No younger sister would act like this...

So best friends are going to attack each other over money they just found? Oh man, this book is insanely bad already.

"Why did you two sneak off in the first place?"....Because they're a couple in high school and that's what couples do? The dialogue in this book is ridiculous and none of these teenagers speak or act like teenagers.

This Eddy guy is a psychopath.

R.L. Stine's writing is laughably juvenile, and his stories aren't unique at all but there's a lot of nostalgia while reading his books.

The problem with this book is that all the characters are so similar. There's really no difference between any of them in terms of how they speak, their problems, their families. The details are different, but the characters are interchangeable. I'm not invested in any of their stories.

Good grief, why are Jandy Nelson's books always so incredible?

I really love Jandy Nelson's writing and characterization.

Cassie Maddox is making some big mistakes...just like Rob Ryan did...

Extremely strong The Secret History vibes, but that's not a bad thing at all.

These 4 are giving me very strong The Secret History vibes. I think Tana French took inspiration from that book.

I'm really hating Julie. Her whole personality changed so fast.

I feel like this book is very unnecessary. I don't think Warm Bodies needed a sequel.

This book is really bleak in a lot of ways.
