Well I definitely saw this plot twist coming a mile away. I'm glad they addressed it now rather than later. It was so obvious and it would have done the story a huge disservice if this was revealed any later than this. With that said, HOW DID SHE GO THIS LONG WITHOUT CONTACTING EITHER ONE OF THEM??? Talk about unnecessary stubbornness! smh

I'm not sure how believable Lee's behavior is? Especially him calling out Merri's hair as yellow. I mean, there are plenty of Korean people who die their hair blonde. So it's not like he hasn't seen blonde hair before...

Also, wtf, he stares at her without the anger for one second and she's swooning now? Lmao

I was sooo excited to read this since I'm especially starved for books with K-pop love interests, buuut this book is definitely reading like a fanfiction lol. Which isn't bad as long as I don't take the story too seriously

I know Shira is a major bitch and all, but she's such a fascinating character. I really like her. Like I said before, Hamilton has a talent for making every character intriguing.

I'm in love with Hamilton's writing. She knows how to give layers to every character she makes. I expected to hate Ayet & the girls that follow her bc they're just like all those other catty jealous girls you'd read in other books. But can you really blame their behavior? All they want is to survive too

In other words, Hamilton makes it very hard for me to hate them :) Even Amani had to do some bad stuff after all
