Guys, I know I just did an update a second ago but...Kenji just went off on Juliette again. And he took the words right out of my mouth. Literally right out of my mouth. Like, I can't right now, that was so f***in perfect.

"Why'd you come back for me?"

"Because you're a dumbass," he says again.

I'm starting to think that all of my updates will involve the beautiful Kenji lol. ON ANOTHER NOTE, I JUST READ THE PART THAT PICKED UP FROM DESTROY ME AND I'M SO EXCITED, I LOVE SHIT LIKE THAT XD

"At the end of the day I do not give two shits about whether or not you and Kent are going steady. We have a million things to take care of down here, and less than none of them involve your love life."

Kenji went off on Juliette and I LOVE him for it

I went from feeling so bad about my poor girl to being PISSED at her and Kenji handled that with flying colors. He continues to be the best boy omg.

Forget Adam and Warner - One guy has my heart right now and his name is KENJI.

On another note, Kenji has done so much for Adam and Juliette. I still have yet to see them return the favor. I don't even think they consider him a friend yet. It's actually really irritating T.T

Okay, I'm sorry, but I laughed out loud when I got to this. But for what its worth, he is growing on me. Not enough for me to ship him with anyone, but I don't hate his guts so that's good.

I'm finding myself hating Warner more and more lol. Although I'm sensing serious Tamlin-Feyre-Rhysand vibes from this book, right now I still hate his guts. There's gonna have to be some serious convincing here guys, cause I just got to the torture chamber part. And I'm shipping Adam and Juliette hard.

P.S. Still super protective of Juilette, so no surprise that I seriously wanted to curse out every one of those soldiers. And I wanted to kick Warner's ass. But hey, I finally met the guy :D

Hmmm still getting used to the writing style. I agree that it sounds really pretty, but the logic, breaking up of sentences, and use of crossing things out are pretty distracting. And I felt strangely protective of Juliette so my first impression of Adam was not the best lol.

Has anyone ever been inspired to write a character based off another fictional character whether they're from a tv show, movie, novel, anime, etc.?
I've just been thinking about how one of my main characters was so heavily inspired by Yona from Akatsuki no Yona (Yona of the Dawn)!

Midterm finals are finally over and Spring break is almost here! Now I can finally go back to reading and writing! *Cries happily*

Being an indie author myself, that's all the more reason for this 2018 goal of mine. This will be the year of Indie book reading for me! I've already read a couple this past month and I'm determined to keep them coming! :)
