As usual, such gorgeous writing! The world building is also really starting up and I have so many questions!

So good! Hammond is wildly different in the book, too. The big action is about to begin and I can't wait!

I had to take a long break after I got about 4% in because IT HURT ME. Bit too real and harsh, but dear god, I love it. I guess I don't wanna rush it. It seems like the kind of book you savor like a special, decadent treat.

I've stalled out on reading a bit(due to life wackiness and attention span, not because of the book), but I flew through the first two books in the series. I'm gonna try to finish it this week!

It's been a good few years since I started this one, and it's about time I finished it! I really do enjoy it.

So I finished it today - it was actually pretty good in the end. I did end up enjoying it once it got about 160-ish pages in. I'll probably read the sequel.

So far it's not gripping me a ton. I have theories on The Mage and The Humdrum though, so I'm sticking with it for now. Baz hasn't even shown up yet. :\

Percentage is a guess, tbh. I'm on chapter 22. Loving it so far.

Pretty good so far, though I wish there was more setting description.

Hmm. . .slow start, and the dialogue feels choppy. . .but it's starting to get more interesting.

Gotta say, this is probably my second favorite by Liane Merciel! I really enjoyed the interactions between the three main characters - particularly Edderas and Velenne. Honestly, I think they tended to steal the show.

While the mystery is there, it feels like the story is more focused on it's characters and the way they relate to one another and their world.

Lol, that was a jump. I'm really enjoying it!

Yup, absolutely loved it. That's all I can say for now. Pick it up when it comes out!
