I'm really feeling like I'm gonna DNF this. There's just some things about it that aren't working for me.

Omg, the only thing making this book bearable is Simon Vance's narration.

The only thing this book has going for it right now is that it's a beautifully designed book. I picked this up as a palate cleanser because I do typically enjoy YA fantasy novels. But there is nothing original or surprising so far. I also dislike the writing style. I absolutely loathe when a book has two POVs & they say the same fucking thing over & over again. The secret identity is also not a secret. -_-
