Okay, this book has officially surprised me.

Mulling over not using star ratings anymore. I want to encourage more nuance in discussing books and discourage thinking of literature as a consumer object. And since most of my ratings are 4-stars, they don't reveal much of what I think about the books! Of course, will continue to 5-star to counteract bigoted review bombing as needed. :)
