Chap 1 comes out punching "States are criminal organizations." and keeps going from there. The chapter defines some ideas being presented in the book and a brief synopsis of Libertarian thinking.

Wow. Still keeps rolling along. Author does a great job keeping reader engaged in the main character and the travails he is up against.

Chap 11 more great chapters

Book IV chap 4. Some of the chapters between the two entries I have made were confusing in body politic, general will, interested parties and self contradictory.

Chap 9. Book keeps getting better and better.

Chap 6. Loving this book.

Book III chap 17. Found a few more quotes that were interesting. Now that he's moved into representation and authority it's making more sense.

Nice plot change and character development. Intrigued to see where it goes.

Pace picking up. Introduced a few new characters to help move plot and a twist that's interesting if not half expected.

Up to chap 3 now. Interesting twist. Pace picking up too.

Just finished chapters one and two. Not bad so far. Your "normal" post-economic upheaval novel with a few unique twists. Nice but somewhat predictable character development.

Up to book III chapter 15. Multiple chapters on the rule of law in pursuant of the state and legislative body. Some interesting lines I've heard quoted elsewhere "every constitution has built in its own self destruction" is one.

chap 6 & 7. convoluted writing in explanation of monarchy and mixed government

Chapters on Democracy and Aristocracy. Finally made a few intriguing points but still seems just a tad off the mark. Still wondering where his philosophy lies in its basis and implementation

Book III Chap 1 - confusing chapter on trying to explain difference between the body politic and its will in regard to exercise of power.

Chap 11. Still a hodge lodge of thoughts, but he finally said something I can actually agree with: Usurpers always bring about or select troublous times to get passed, under the cover of the public terror, destructive laws, which the people would never adopt in cold blood.

Chapter 10 now he's unto political power of the people and he's self contradictory again.

Chapter 7. Covered the will of the people, death penalty and the law. Writes in circular logic in detente to the "general will" and a corresponding sovereign. Both conflicting in power struggle as each seem to be natural extensions of the people but I don't think so as they have different ends.

Chapter 8. Book really reads as a mild communist manifesto with circular logic.

First chapter delves right in and talks of class of slaves and rulers and how some are born to their state and that is natural. WTF?

"Ship's Brother" by Aliette de Bodard. What cost the price to travel space? Our humanity? Family? Thoughtful piece.

"Invisible Men" by Christopher Barzak. An interesting take on a classic through another's eyes.

"The Wreck of the 'Charles Dexter Ward'" by Sarah Monette and Elizabeth Bear. Great short story on space travel, mythical creatures and re-animation and the consequences. Reminded me a bit of Farscape for you ScyFy fans.

"Tyche and the Ants" by Hannu Rajaniemi. Not sure what was going on in this dystopian Alice in Wonderland knock off. Very confusing plot and characters. No real conclusion. Poorly envisioned universe/mythos.

"Ruminations in an Alien Tongue" by Vandana Singh. A bit slow but interesting piece of multiverse theory and probability.

"Fireborn" by Robert Charles Wilson. A class struggle interwoven with a mild romantic twist that takes too long to pay out. Easy to put down and not pick up. RCW usually does better. He does paint a good picture of the future world, it's order, and differences between upper/lower class, but the human interest aspect is cold and distant.

"Sudden, Broken, and Unexpected" by Steven Popkes. An interesting short story dealing with a corporate owned artificial intelligence that performs pop music and a retired musician.
