I can't see any reality where sociometry would be anything but problematic. It's basically a model that measures social relationships. The way it was described in this book was that people were listing people they'd rather work with and people they'd rather not work with, which would ultimately give you a popularity dimension. And they used it in schools. How can that be anything but a horrible, cruel idea?
