After I read Phantasma, I thought I was a Romantasy Girlie, so I proceeded to go out and buy like 16-Romantasy books, including this entire series. This is where I started and I read like 200-pages and was like, my Romantasy Era is over. RIP.
But I picked this back up tonight and Thalassa has pulled me back in. I appreciated the emotional growth of both characters just now...

The tone of this sort of reminds me of The Books of Babel series by Josiah Bancroft. I am really enjoying it. Hoping to learn more about the world in the next installment though, because I don't really feel like I completely understand.

If I had read a hard copy, it would prob be a 4 to 4.5-star read, but the audiobook...wow, so good! The story paired with that fabulous narration is feeling like a potential 5-star to me!
