The Inheritance Games meets All of Us Villains?

Okay, I'm intrigued.

There's a lot of descriptions of plants and tea. It's not bad, but I am definitely skimming some parts. The dislogue is good. I am glad Yael is sticking around in Bloomfield.

I'm still loving this. One aspect I saw coming, but I didn't care, because the build up to the reveal was intriguing nevertheless. There are some truly chilling moments and times that I've been scared; like legitimately creeped out. Highly recommend the audiobook, as the narrator is a perfect match to our MC, Mina!

After reading the first chapter last night, I heavily considered DNFing this, but decided to give the next chapter a go. I now see where it is headed, some I'm intrigued enough to continue. I'm not really a cottage core girlie, I'm more of a blood, gore, murder and ghosty girlie, but we'll see!

I am loving this. The audiobook narration is so on point for the story!!

I did switch to audio for this one this morning.
I didn't dedicate a lot of time to it today, but I can already tell the audio format is going to help. I wasn't gonna make it if I just read it physically.
It is full cast, so it is already making the characters more distinct.

This so good on audio. I can't express that enough.
It's like it was written for that medium.
This full cast is absolutely bringing it to life.

Already enjoying this way more than the 1st book. Although somehow we still get to hear how drop-dead, off-the-charts, hot Corrie is. No other woman ever has, or ever will, compare to her. ((puke))
