Flying through this one. I see the connections now...

48% in the first sitting is the sign of a compelling story.

It helps this is set mostly in an area near where I grew up and have spent a ton of time. I'm interested to see what the outcome is gonna be.

There's been a couple odd directions, but overall, I am really enjoying it and all the various perspectives.

The camping parts -- so cute -- one tent, one sleeping, one pillow, one gingersnappus. Until they were tripping and we didn't know it...I didn't know what the hell was going on. Hahahaha, so random, then I figured it out.

It's kind of odd how time is jumping around. Like Zelda got mad at Morgan for a minute and then there's a scene in a library, and she sees him and thinks, I haven't talked to him in a month! A month?! What? Where were we while this month was passing? Then they start talking as if nothing ever happened? As if she hadn't been ignoring him for a month?

Am I supposed to care the Ruby has a tag on her head now? Cause I'm finding it really heard to drum up sympathy for her...NGL

The oddest romance I've ever read, but I'm compelled forward nonetheless and I'm enjoying it.

Awww, I really like this scene. It feels like Zelda and Morgan are finally connecting on a deeper level, sharing stories of their relationships with her Grandma Dottie. ❤️

Yep. Chaotic is the name of the game, but I'm also oddly enraptured by this story. I'm not sure why, but I'm compelled to keep going. Maybe because I'm totally picture the MLI, Morgan, as a young Uncle Jesse...

This really is chaotic. From the Night Market, to suddenly this huge birthday party for Ash, which wasn't even slightly alluded to before. Where am I? What's happening?

OMG, I feel so bad for so many of these characters. There are terrible things happening to them. Like poor, Allison, for example. Good grief. When it rains it pours, am I right!? SMH

This writing style is quite...eccentric. I mean, I guess it makes sense in the story, but...

Mmm. I feel like this is going to end a lot less malevolent than I wanted, or expected. Esp after that strong build...

Good grief. Literally transforming into a monster. How the heck is she gonna get out of the hold of the Muse, and was she posing as Carol before we met her? I feel like, was it her all along, or did it really start with her mother and Deidre?

Immediately vibing with Cavanagh's writing...unsurprisingly. LOL

This is a fun one. Talk about a true locked room mystery -- murder on a plane, and a small one at that. I really like Norman and Jane. They're so cute. It was fun with Poirot hooked up with them and utilized them for his investigation. Jane did some solid acting as his secretary.

How ARE all these things connected?
I seriously hope it's not Maria, or Alice. Could Alice be the fugitive that Rymer was hunting? I mean, she is new in town...

I have no clue how this can end...happily?
I mean, there's no way there is going to be a happy ending, but will Jewel survive?

What the heck!? Has Jessica even called that property management company to confirm those two people who walked into her house the other night actually worked for them? They have to be involved with this murder, right? Maybe they were planning to use her house to watch the artist...

I really love the depth King went into with this historical tone, and the epistolary format certainly fit well. I would love to see him delve more into this territory.
