Started listening on Libby, had to pick up my physical copy! Can’t wait to read/listen to this!

“The Last Time I Lied” has been a perennial favorite of mine so I thought I’d pick up another one of Sager’s books. So far it’s much like the other insofar as it’s not incredible but it’s compulsively readable.

Book club pick for October! Hoping it’s better than the mixed reviews on this site!

Also, low key my penpal is reading the same book. Did I copy her? Did I subconsciously pick this book out because of that?

Why does this book seem so slow the second time around? I love the setting, the plot, and the characters but for some odd reason it’s just moving along at a snail’s pace.

Guess it’s time to start reading the next book club book.

Despite a very literary-minded colleague giving this book 2 stars, I shall delve into it in order to help me elucidate just what the heck went on in The Family Remains.

Ok. So. Grabbed this at the thrift store seeing it was a “standalone” sequel. To me, that means you can read it without having read the first novel. I’m very confused about what’s going on but the drama keeps me riveted. I also can’t decide if one of the characters is actually real or not.

This one is a page turner.
