Listen. I have more copies of this book I my classroom library than any other. I love John Green’s works. I’ve just never read this one. It came out at a time where I was being a pretentious high schooler and only reading classics (or not reading much at all). I’m finally ready to accept that though 2012 me might not have read this, 2024 me will. And she’ll love it.

Not sure if I’m emotionally prepared for the end of this book.

Uh oh. The good ol’ duke is thinking death thoughts. Could this be…foreshadowing??
