Finally arrived at the gratuitous portion of the story...the background of "the subject's" present male friend.

Excellent legal thriller! MC is a newly appointed Federal Judge in New Orleans.

Very satisfying plot.

I am laughing until it hurts at the banter between the two protagonists!

More mayhem and hilarity are the order of the day.

A profile has been completed of "the subject" and now the investigators have to find him/her before they kill another boy.

One protagonist is brutally beaten as a warning to Lane, the MC with the physical disability.

This is the first book, ever, that is set in Israel. Learning some new words and terms. Cool.

This book is loaded with humor, snarky prose and scorching heat. The characters are totally different for this plot, delving into the realm of the physically disabled. But done with self deprecation, not blatant insults.

The midpoint really stalls the plot by diverging from "the subject" to an interoffice romance which is not required and feels like just filler to add pages to the book. So sad.

I truly cannot wait for this book's ending! SO tedious, boring and utterly sleep inducing!

I love how the author revealed the antagonists' name and job early on, yet still refers to the person as "the subject." Was the early reveal just a ruse??

Plot is written in the style of a rollercoaster ride...up, down and all over. UGH!

Amazing written plot and characters. The antagonist, while somewhat known, it kept in enough of a cloak of mystery to remain an enigma of sorts.

Dark, mysterious and witty read so far.

If this is supposed to be a comedy as the cover states, I must not have a sense of humor. The main plot points so far reference stock market tips and sexual fantasies. Neither written with a letter of hilarity.

Liking this story so far. Interesting plot and protagonist.
