A marvelously "gut" book with meaningful values and morality.

Interesting read. Although the constant usage of Amish terminology is a bit overdone.

Description of Father Steel: loves to tick people off, dry sense of humor, extremely snarky with nearly everyone, definitely NOT celibate, curses like the devil in heat, disrespectful of all authorities, deals in the macabre, part church exorcist, part practical priest when called for and definitely NOT devout.

Excellent look into the lives of eight friends of various beliefs: Amish, Mennonite and English.

The protagonist, Father Steel, is a highly unusual character, to say the least!

An unusual protagonist with a snarky, but delightful, sense of humor.

Mysterious beginning to this tale.

Gay country boy meets big city with many complications.

Finally, Branson & Layne admit their true feelings for one another. But evil Dom Kintan isn't giving up getting Layne back as his "property."

Terrific plotlines, perfectly timed humor and wonderful characters.

Finally...some heat! Rather intense heat, too.

Any book that begins with the sentence, "It began with an eyeball" instantly has my attention!

Well crafted story with many potential triggers.
