I'm in love with this story. I'm not a fan of gore so many movie potrayals of vampires literally turn my stomach but, this is a cerebral tail. It slowly, much as Dracula himself does with our protagonist, seeps inside your mind & takes you on a dizzying journey.

I love Esther! She has such a refreshing mindset & one I share. She wants to know the whys of the things people do. She understands that every human is complex & flawed and yet, absolutely capable of self evaluation, taking responsibility and learning new, healthy ways of dealing with complex emotions. She's quite simply a brilliant, intelligent, kind, beautiful individual.

Such an engrossing read!

just started chptr 2 & so far the only thing interesting is the MC's inclusion of a "word of the day." not one character thus far is the least bit interesting, nor is the story.

This started slow & I found the 1st chptr uninteresting but, I decided to stick it out & give it a chance...so far, I'm liking it.
