I'm at Chapter 18. So far, the story is engaging but, I'm wishing for a sub-heading on the chapters. For example, present and 10 years ago or even weeks ago. I'm jumping around in time, it's a little distracting because I'm trying to work out the when.

I've just gotten to the part after the scout appears. I'm assuming Kristen Ashley meant Ventura Highway by America.... or Ventura Boulevard by The Everly Brothers. Both are rock songs but I think Ventura Highway would suit better.
