Whoa, wait, wut? Plot twist!

It takes pretty good writing for an author to take me from wanting to slap someone (while simultaneously wanting that someone to punch another character), to suddenly seeing everything differently and forgiving them both. (Even if I still don't trust the second character as far as I can throw him.)

I'm listening to this on audio and am glad that the narrator is using a New York accent where needed. Adds flavor. :)

SIGH. I love the historical side of Camden's stories, but every time, she does something with the romance that irks me. On this one, we're only 17% in and they're already kissing. So much for romantic tension...

Okay, we have a group of people who can poison others, possibly to death, simply with their *words*. That's creepy.

Definitely enjoying this! The contrast between the swords as weapons, but then some technology also being present is very interesting.

OKAY, I now have a brand new (not used) copy of the book that ISN'T missing 30-ish pages! I've caught myself up to the point in the story where my previous copy had the missing pages and I'm excited to keep reading!

Halfway through and I still like it! This is definitely a refreshing take on Alice in Wonderland. So glad to finally find something based on that story that I can enjoy!

I've finally found something related to Alice in Wonderland that I can enjoy! This has many references to the original, including that quirkiness and non-logic, BUT it's not so ridiculous that it feels like a fever dream, which is the issue I always had with the original. There is an actual storyline here that I can follow!
