Again, I'm surprised how much I remember this book! I thought I didn't remember the second one, but I've remembered most of it.

That Wild Swans retelling was tons of fun. :D

The interview with Burndee was the best. XD

Colin and Burndee's first meeting is the best thing ever. XD

This was one of my favorite series as a horse-obsessed tween, but I only got up to book 13 out of 24 before my mom started not being able to find copies of the later books. (Still don't know why.) But Oasis Audio has now republished the ENTIRE SERIES on audio and they're all on Hoopla!

This is okay-ish so far. The writing style is easy to read and it's interesting to think about the characters as real people who's lives were novelized by their sister, and how they're reacting to the first installation of Little Women being out in the world. But as for the romance? I think it's just convincing me that Jo and Laurie are fine as friends and really didn't need to end up together. XD

Okay, Cynthia's letter about the first time she and Colin met was hilarious, LOL!

Now I'm into "Files's" journal entries and honestly, he reminds me of Eustace Scrubb in some ways. XD

I have noooooo idea how I'm going to feel about this, but it's appealing to my current mood and didn't have a wait list on the Libby app so... We'll see what happens. :P

The title says this book has a trio of Christmas stories, but there's actually a 4th, very short story at the end and it was stinking cute. I really enjoyed all of these. RTC!

Story 3 was giving me deja vu for several pages. Then I realized it's the same one that was included in "The Christmas Heirloom: Four Holiday Novellas of Love Through the Generations" which I read at Christmas last year. Both of these anthologies are from Bethany House, but published 3 years apart, and Heirloom features multiple authors. Interesting that they repeated this story here.

Ella's letter was positively charming to read. I'm enjoying this so much already!

All this talk about the throne wardens and the way they protect their family at all costs really hits different when you've read the entire series to the end. *is trying and failing not to start sobbing*

I forgot about some of the details of the second half of the book, so I get to be excited all over again. XD

Rereading now that the animated series is dropping! This is actually my first time physically reading this since my first read was technically on audio when Andrew read the books out loud, live on Youtube in 2020. I'm excited to get a better look at the illustrations!
