I don’t know, …it was just too corny. Maybe I’ll come back

There’s a reason I don’t usually read second chance romances —— they make me SO sad. All the missed opportunities and misunderstandings leads two people who love each other away from another. UGH! I cannot handle it. Makes me so sad.

Do you ever read something, and think this cannot be real life. People actually do this?? Have these trains of thought? Lol, I know books are written as fiction and for entertainment but sometimes I just cannot get over the second hand embarrassment

When the H scares other guys away from h …. DONT FEEL GRATITUDE! Get angry. Ugh.

What the heck. We are almost halfway through and we’re still in the town WE STARTED IN! How am I 200+ pages in and nothing has actually yet to happen. Shocked and confused, does the book do a complete 180 or am I just a hater.

I’m in love. Two thorny professionals in the book business, wow.

It’s a LONG book, pretty slow right now. Starting to lose some interest, will try to persevere and finish though because I want to find out the end!!!

So far pretty good read, but defs feel like the book could end here..... like I would love for it to end here😭😭😭 I’m not ready for the next 45% to be angst. WHY IS THERE STILL SO MUCH BOOK LEFT. They’re so happy right now.

Really dislike how Fallon is maneuvering Shea how he likes without her input and she’s letting him get away with it!! Had the same problem in the first book and in the Phoenix series. Super frustrating since she’s a smart and capable person who can and should be making her own decision. I just don’t understand

DNF, was not a fan of the writing style. The dialogue felt forced as if the characters were trying to sound super formal but it came off a bit wrong. Personal dislike, and the writing may not bother others but once I decide I don’t like a writing style it makes it very hard for me to continue. May come back to in the future when I’m less picky.
