i love everyone but ronan's chapters are always the best.

how is this the first time I've actually witnessed the superior kind of love triangle that I always want?? the one where all three are hot for each other.. why does this not happen more?? step up please.

these two really just needed a fun book like this. I love them so much! but i I can tell the difference between writers especially when alec says 'I am..' instead of just 'I'm' which just feels awkward. pretty sure he's not been weirdly formal like that in previous books so idk what the aim is. also describing a warlock as middle-aged when they are immortal?? kinda jarring but it's not detracting that much so it's ok

god will and jem are heartbreaking...

this is such a chore! what is going on... I put this down and read 3 cassie clare books (two of which were CHUNKY) and now I suppooose I have to finish this but it's honestly so slow and the characters have become really dull for some reason...

i bought this forever ago intending to read more of The Books. i just picked it up tidying my shelves and sat on the floor reading it for like a hour until my legs were dead. it's good, man.

god one of my biggest pet peeves in writing is when everyone says each other's names all the time. no one does that irl!!! please stop!!!
