these two really just needed a fun book like this. I love them so much! but i I can tell the difference between writers especially when alec says 'I am..' instead of just 'I'm' which just feels awkward. pretty sure he's not been weirdly formal like that in previous books so idk what the aim is. also describing a warlock as middle-aged when they are immortal?? kinda jarring but it's not detracting that much so it's ok
