The She Elephant is a strange character in this book. No she is not an elephant. She is basically a slave holder from thof future. She pays people to kidnap children and have them come dig her underground tunnels. These tunnels are off in the middle of the desert and are under a vass wasteland. She finds out the kids are the general Matsika's kids and tries to sell them to the masks, the General's main target.

Tendai has a strange after. His dad is extremely overprotective, but he has his reasons to be. His father is a general in the military and is hated by some people. He has a force field set up around the family's house, not letting anyone in or out unless given specific orders to. Tendai wants to leave (and does) but his father doe not allow any of the kids to leave. basically, he is strangely overprotective.

Characteristics of Temdai
Temdai is living in 2194, and surrounded by robots but takes it all for granted. He has 2 siblings, Kuda and Rita. Temdai himself is one whom thinks about everything to the full extent. He is curious about what is outside, he wants to see the world. He is also empathetic. Im the book he was described as worrying too much about his opponent's feelings. Kuda is the opposite, a born fighter.

Characterization- After having read through the books you kea n and grow with Alex, and without close reading, you don't notice how far he has come from the first book, but if you compare and contrast, you begin to understand how mature he is, he respects his elders instead of always fighting with his caretaker or arguing with Alan Blunt to tell him more about his father, he learns to know how to be patient.

My favortie character is Alex Rider. I like him for many reasons, but for mainly the fact that I'd call him an example. With how derived he is, with how loyal he is to his friends, and how much he respects his elders. These are all examples of how mature he is. I find this as an important characteristic that all people should have and I try my best to do things like this.

TRAGEDY

I think Scorpia is tragedy because it is all based off of the fact that his father died. Because without his bather dying, he never would have known about MI6, and he never would've been involved with being a spy. If he had never become a spy, then there never would have been a reason for him to join the spy ring and he never would've had the derivative to make him find his fathers killer.

I believe that this book is character driven because it starts out as he's forced into it, but he's obligated to have to keep people safe. He has to its just how he is. But another influential character driving thing is the fact that his father was killed and he has to know who did it and make revenge or at least come to terms as to why he was killed.

SETTING
The setting of this book is in a school for basically the richest of the richest. The kids are sent away from their families to live in the school dorms and go to learn there. The quantity of children is rather small (so they can all be replaced and cloned into other people), but I imagine the facility to be large because all of the money the families put into having their children attend the school.

Alex Rider is a static character for one main reason. That reason being that he never changes his view on being a spy. He was forced into being a spy, he never had the opportunity to get out. He always thought lowly of being a spy and only does it because he wants to protect the people he loves and his country.

I think the genre of point blank is action. People are often running from one another and shooting at people every which way. The other possible genre of this book would be coming of age. I think this because Alex sees many things. Some good and some bad. But these things that he sees, they help him grow and help him grow more mentally and become a man.

SETTING
The setting of this story effects the book in a few ways. Meaning some parts of the book would not have been able to happen the way they did (many parts actually). I think the setting means something. I think it metaphorically resembles home, and in the end, Stargirl moves away, just as anyone would have to do because that's what happens when you grow up.

The sidekick to Stargirl is her pet rat. Her pet rat is always with her and stays at her side. Even though the rat does not talk, and cannot technically give advice, the rat in some form or fashion, is moral support. Just because the rat cannot talk, it is with her, and it seems as if she can telepathically talk to it because they have an unspoken bond (no pun intended).

Star girl is a is sympathetic character for many reasons. She's always the jolly one and no one could possibly drag her down. Then again, to some extent, you feel bad for her, all of the mean things people say behind her back. You can't tell wether to feel bad because of what people think, or to feel good because she doesn't let it get to her. I think that star girl is an amazing role model and a great leader.

I chose to read this book because I found the back summarization/catch enticing. Another reason I read it was because it was recommended to me by mom (and she was forcing me to find a book at my age level). I continuosly have read this book because I feel an indescribable bond with the main character.

Setting

The location of this book an important influence on the story because it is in the main family's house. Within this house, the grandmother passes away, and her siblings have had small pox, then later cured. In other words, the house holds many family memories, making the story intriguing.

The Heretic's Daughter is a novel that is told in one main chronological story throughout the girls life. There are often other stories she is told, some scary, made-up stories, and some real life ones. These stories influence her in her life.

The protagonist in my story is Sarah, a young girl who takes care of her younger baby sister, Hannah. Sarah is courageous and brave. She protects her sister, and will go the extra yard. Sarah does not know how to read or write, being that she does not go to school. She is also not religious, which is rather uncommon for the time the story takes place.

Personality traits

Alex is a young boy who throughout the books slowly grows older. He has second thoughts about his job all the time, but still keeps trying. Maybe it's the dedication, maybe it's for his parents. He is dedicated to what he does, and often gets caught on his missions but does whatever he can to get out. This show she is highly dedicated.

In the beginning, Percy's mother was kidnapped. Sure that made the story more intriguing, but maybe there was something more to it. Did it resemble something? I honestly do not know. Maybe it was so everyone's personality would be brought out into a better view for everyone so you could come closer to them and understand their thought process? Maybe it was a metaphor to something bigger that I don't understand.

A prediction I made earlier in the book was that I thought that Luke, the son of Hercules, would later betray the gods and go against Percy because something just always seemed off with him. He seemed too good to be true, and later on, you figure out that he himself wanted Zeus' lightning bolt.

Bryce, is a boy that is often taking a look at things in a different perspective. At one point he thought juli was a crazy girl, but later on he thinks, "Well maybe she isn't so bad to have around." This shows his decisions are often persuaded. He has short black hair and is very young but deep down he makes many of his own decisions and has his own thoughts that he keeps to himself.

In the book, the main character is making a plan to make someone leave him alone. I've done that a few times to get someone to stop bothering me.

Another thing that I can connect to is the sister. His sister tries to sabotage him and ruin his plan. I can connect to this because my siblings would/have done the same thing.

The tone for the book Flush is mischievous. It is mischievous because characters are hiding things from one another, they keep secrets and feelings to themselves. For example, Noah knows things about the boat and it faking it's dump-wasting. He knows and has proof that it's fake, but he won't tell the police this isformation, causing him to be mischevieous.
