So far the author creates suspense by introducing an enemy in the very beginning of the book. Percy tries to kill him without help from his friends, showing that the author wants readers to understand Percy is daring and wants to prove himself.

This book was very entertaining. Although the setting and characters were very normal people, the mystery in the plot kept me on the edge of my seat. Additionally, the subplot of the main character trying to get in shape added a nice dimension to the story.

The author creates a lot of foreshadowing in the beginning of the book by pitting two characters against each other.

I can tell this book, although non-fiction, is going to be a very entertaining book with lots of humor and a strong voice/persona of the author. So far, he has described the terrifying enthusiasm and drunkenness of Bears' fans on the way to the 86 Super Bowl.

The most exciting part about this book is the fast-paced plot, which captivates you and makes you not want to put it down. The plot was so good in the first book that I read all 400 pages of it in a day.

One of the main character's dearest friends has just died, and it will be interesting to see how he reacts to this in comparison to how the other characters have reacted to their respective tragedies.

From the end of book two, this third installment started out much further past where I thought it would, leaving many characters' conflicts from the last book unfulfilled for me.

An interesting thing in the story is that their are three plot lines to follow in three different settings. The author does this to keep readers' interest when one of the narratives reaches a dull point in the action. So far, the book has been enjoyable

The book is interesting because a major problem occurs early on in the story.

Things are just getting interesting as Eragon's dragon might be found because scary strangers are lurking around town, looking for Eragon's egg-turned-dragon. I am intrigued and I don't know if Eragon can keep hiding Saphira, his dragon.

This book series has been one of my favorites I have ever read. Although the author lacks some imagery in his writing, the plot line is very complex and exciting.

The dual plot structure is very interesting and helps intensify cliff-hangers when the author goes to the other subplot.

Something in the book that I wasn't expecting was that Lynda, Dean's Vietnamese bar friend, was using Dean to buy her stuff from America.
