This is so weird but I kinda dig it?

Characters feel pretty flat and superficial. Lila is very annoying. Plot-wise still interesting.

Really hope Lila gets over the “I’m not like other girls” attitude.

I love Maia so much.

Switching to audio was a smart move.

This audiobook is the standard by which all other full-cast audiobooks should be judged.

This author is very pretentious and really is disdainful of modern scientists. Interesting stuff though so I’m trying to press on.

Three Seagrass and Mahit are a precious pair.

Even better the second time around after reading HtN.

It was $2 so I figured what the hell. But probs shouldn’t be reading it alongside the much more dense and mature prose of Harrow the Ninth...the contrast makes the first person, Present-tensePOV even more cringe.

Wonderful story so far!

Rosvita is annoying the hell out of me.

Pleasantly surprised at how much I like this book even if it is a medieval european style (in fact, alternate Europe) fantasy. Some rather dated tropes that I'll get into when I complete the book.

Okay, this is definitely not a book you can take a break from due to distraction by other stories then just dive back in. I'm going to have to start over because I have no fucking idea what's going on. Yikes.

Really enjoying this so far! I especially like that this is an interspecies crew and looking forward to the developing relationships.

Moon Called is good so far, but goddamn this fucking cover is awful. Granted, I'm reading the kindle version so I can read this in public without judgment, but this male fantasy-catering is so unnecessary.

I'm incredibly bored and I'm not even 50 pages in.

I'm really enjoying this except for all the emphasis on Kaladin and his story. Of all the POV characters he is the MOST boring. He's so whiny and cliched. I'd much rather have more of Shallan or Szeth. Or make Jasnah a POV character. The world-building is on point though.

Yeah, I'm not finishing this. The concept is cool, the execution is terrible. This old style of writing doesn't suit me.

Holy crap this is so good. Stephenson obviously did a lot of research which I truly appreciate. It's also making me so melancholy...in a good way...if there is a good way one can be melancholy.
