Dam this book! Between the British hot and humid nights, thunderstorms and this book I apparently don't sleep anymore.

Not bad so far. Moves quickly, no huge world building. Bit of adventure, banter and so forth. Makes a peasant change.

Toyed with what book to go for next. The liars key, maybe, for some reason,despite having a copy I keep putting it off. So I settled on this book, which has great reviews, so here's hoping I won't be disappointed.

Eek- getting old. Started last night and had trouble remembering who was who. Luckily, work is dead and ive skipped through the Red prince, again. All is well, looking forward to this book. Each book seems to improve on the last, great story.

Couple of hours left of this book. Excellent so far, multiple P.O.V characters, which develop at a nice pace. Deserves a wider audience- if you love Fantasy, read this. Any one know when book 2 is out ?

Starting to get into this book, expected more from the reviews but stating to warm to it big time. The only reason it's been hard times warm to initially is because the main character,Rezkin is almost godlike, maybe that's where the story is going? Good... Getting better

Seems ok, not blown away- hoping I will warm to the characters more than I have. Seems quick paced-

Loving the re-read of Malice- so glad I embarked on this rather than pick up Ruin without reminding myself who is who, etc. Any chance you could release book 4 for my now as well please, John Gwynne??

Fast paced, enjoyable debut. Had reservations initially due to the guns, period, etc. which is a break from the norm, for me. Took a while to connect with the characters, however, having almost finished this one, I have the next two on the kindle ready. Set's the scene well. If your thinking of reading this, do.

60% through now. Very fast paced, quite original and enjoyable- not quite connecting with the characters-yet,

should of read tower lord again, prior to starting. however, very fast paced and starting to remember who is who, etc. very good so far
