So I loved the very beginning of this book, and I know it’s satire, but I find that when I’m not reading this book, I don’t miss it. It’s risking a DNF and the reviews aren’t really compelling enough to have me wanting to keep going…

I feel like for books like this, there should be a ranking category, purely for me, that is just ratings from moms with children under 10. I say this because, had I read this pre-kids, I probably would have been like SNORE! Instead her mention of Repose Gray had me in a fit.

This book weighs 1,000 pounds, and the pages are so soft and light. I love it so much!

Also, the story so far? So good.

Let’s make the MMC look good by making the other men be absolutely DEPLORABLE.

I hate the breakup trope where people are just such morons, this book is not disappointing me in the regard 😒. People can have their feelings but omg this is just painful. I realize people are sad and mopey with breakups, maybe I’m just tired of the trope?

I don’t know if it’s because Alchemised is looking at me with bedroom eyes from across the room, or if I’m just kinda over this book. Let’s just say I’ve looked at the time remaining in the book A LOT. Take it for what you will.

I came into this expecting it to just be ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 sizzling, but I am wrong. I’m so torn. This book is making me question everything and I LOVE IT!

🍉🍉 This book is a RIDE… in ALL the ways. As a 40 year old I’m like “GURL, date that boy band boy”, but then I think back to what my 12 year old self would think if I found out my mom was dating Isaac Hanson, and I also get that perspective (aka I’d be MORTIFIED). Anyway, this book is the best.

Honestly, this book is annoying, and I’m just desperate to finish it. If it becomes one of those M Night Shamalyan endings, or Perfect Marriage (IYKYK) I will explode from rage. I have my suspicions of who the person is, and I won’t be happy if I’m right.

I want to say this here, in case I forget by the time I finish this and write my review, but I NEVER thought I’d be an audiobook person. I also thought I’d never be a person that preferred an audiobook over the actual book, but here we are. Please consider this my PSA- this book MUST be read via audiobook, both narrators are FANTASTIC!

You mean to tell me January LaVoy is the ONLY female narrator and does ALL the female voices?! The talent. I’m thankful to be reading this via audio, because I worry I’d have missed the true sarcastic tone otherwise. This book is perfect for dishes and runs!

Please. PLEASE! Ingest this via the audio vehicle. The narrator is superior.

The writing is so bad and repetitive, and the characters are awful people, in various ways, I don’t like anyone. And YET, I’m up way too late literally racing to find out what happens. Time for bed!

YES! I’m devouring this book. And, classic Freida, she’s leading us down A path, but, she’s also the QUEEN of pulling the rug out from under us at right about the halfway mark… It’s very obvious WHO she’s leading us to believe is the baddie… but ARE THEY?! Eek, I love it.
