Completed reading the story titled:
"Prakasham Ulkollunna Nallu' Kannugal" - a memoir on time spent with his friends Kovur & his wife during one of their visits to Basheer's home.
Mrs. Fabi Basheer is also part of the conversations.
Usual wit & satire from Basheer, not a story actually, but still fun reading it.

<spoiler>Faridi & his asst. Hameed are indulged in breaking into houses themselves. But Faridi is not revealing why he is doing this.</spoiler>

1. Astrologer's Day - Another simple tale & a stunning ending, typical like O.Henry or Saki style.
Read many times over, but get the same feel.
* Though RKN makes fun of the astrologers who make money without actually specializing in the trade or knowing the science of Astrology, but still he supports the Astrologer from Malgudi, since he does a good job of giving peace of mind to the people who visit him!!

School is setup.

An amazing intro by Jumpa Lahiri on RK.Narayan's works, his style, his times etc.
Really enjoyed the long introduction by the acclaimed writer.
