L'histoire de la grand-mère de Saul me rappelle tellement celle de ma grand-mère que j'ai fini par pleurer. Je n'ai jamais connu quelqu'un dont la présence est aussi chaleureuse et rassurante à la fois que celle de ma grand-mère. Que son âme repose en paix ♡

Sadly, I only get so very little time to read this book, and I am very much in love with Jennifer's style. The mere fact that I'm reading a book when it gets to the war part and i'm ACTUALLY enjoying it is a testament to how gripping her writing is. I don't know how she manages to do so, but you literally and up longing for a time you haven't even lived yourself.

I like how Jennifer didn't find page 6 to be too early to criticize, or rather describe literally 97% of the marriages I have seen.

The books I've been reading these past couple of months have been way too descriptive. This one is quite good for a change
