Chapter Ten - I love how Brown takes you through humor before the pain and ends with sweetness.

68 of 275 Chapter Six - This story just keeps getting better and better. I was cool with the opening but it seems the plot compounds each chapter and it's hilarious.

[Chapter] 21 Tiana - This boy is trying to get extra chapters in. I think this may be better than the original ending, I wasn't expecting that.

[Chapter] 33 - I considered abandoning ship as this isn't for me, but another book set in Alaska made me miss LC and her "ums," so I'm going to finish. Can I just say, girl what? He's been at college for 2 years and was unaware of your interest until a few weeks ago, are you 18 or 12?

[two pages into Chapter] 27 - I'm over it but I do want to finish. MC uses "oh um" too much and I think this kiss is never going to happen and the lack of transparency is creating a terrible triangle.

[Chapter] 8 Tiana - Okay, now this story is coming together. I have to admit I don't know how she's going to get out of this pickle.

[Chapter] 5 Facilier - The food is worth the read.

30 of 383 [Chapter] 3 Tiana - My kid called it before it happened. I'm just trying not to get frustrated over her naiveté, she had better sense in the movie, but at least the book is written well.

21 of 383 [Chapter] 2 Facilier - This book expects you to know the movie, Chapter 1 starts in the middle of it.

[Chapter] 23 - Not much is going on I'm still waiting for the credits to roll (title of the book), there's no danger of a triangle if you can't seal the deal with the first guy.

10:14:57 Chapter 31 - We are stopping this close to the end. It may be the most suspenseful part of all of the preventable turmoil has annoyed us into submission. We'll finish tomorrow morning after our nerves recover.

9:31:38 Chapter 29 - This story is going in circles and wasting our time. It had a lot of action for a minute but mostly due to the poor decisions this age group is known for.

[Chapter] 7 - Ugh! This is going to be about vampires, that's not magic.

Page 34 of 386 [Chapter] 4 - If I had known this was a retelling of The Great Gatsby I would have passed on it. Then add in the magical realism this is going to be awkward, but it has a gorgeous green cover so it's getting a chance, so far it is more interesting than the original. Daisy is the MC and I don’t hate her yet.

6:36:07 Chapter 22 - Even with the recap this book is drawn-out and a bit confusing. I thought my son abandoned me a few times but he assured me he was still listening. He thinks it's okay but a little slow. I'm not happy to discover this trilogy has been extended to a 5 book series, so no finally is coming at the end of this book.

Page 45 of 389/399 Chapter Five - This story is very well written but this arrangement is already on my nerves, so I'm hoping it goes somewhere profound.

Location 922 of 2771 Chapter Eight Jameson - Now this is how you do a sweet romance. I love it and I'm already adding the rest of the series to my TBR.

2:23:36 Chapter 9 Eli Frieden - My son is forcing me to reread this series, but I'm not mad about it, other than it's taking away time from my Green Books goal. This isn't as suspenseful the second time around for obvious reasons, but it's still very good.

4:45:09 Chapter 16 - This story has me a bit confused. And I have heard that reference like that when it's with your tongue, but okay. I'm going back to bed now.
