This novel really is strange...

The cadence for the sit in stuff sounds like some of the voice intonations from Annihilation

I have not made much progress in this book considering how tiny it is

This feels like that episode of Bones where Tempe has to humanize herself and the victim so the jury understands what happened. Except where Bones was able to do that, Heinrich couldn’t do it enough and that allowed for the jury to send an innocent man to jail. I’m also thoroughly pissed at the early justice system.

The only downsides of buddy reads is waiting to read the next part.
