Lot of unexamined biases not getting counteracted by critical thinking here. Using a study about fat people dying in car crashes more as an analogue to argue disasters will just naturally kill more fats than thins? And never considering whether *car safety is designed for thins* just as it is for men and for tall people? In this economy?!?

…I’m really not sure about using studies of cops’ experiences of stress hormones *in cases where they shot civilians* as a proxy for everyone’s experience of stress hormones in an emergency, but maybe that’s just me.
