This really grabbed me from the start. I'm loving the bio-shock, unkown end of the world vibes. The slow burn is slow but the language difference and slow getting to learn each other is on point. Almost similar to Radiance by Grace Draven in their evolution.

This is taking some turns I wasn't expecting. It's not quite grabbing as much as a typical fantasy would, but that could just be the exhaustion of the current heat wave. We'll see how things wrap up...

An intersting start with world building and how the magic is "sacrificed" but then given back. Seems like a monarchy needing to be toppled...

It's a little more himbo than I prefer, but we'll see how things progress.

Loving the call backs to the first book to start the final novel. Plus I died with Reagan FINALLY learning about how merpeople procreate. I'm going to miss this series.

So much fun to be back with Reagan and the crew. Nervous to see how everything's going to work out. Sad after this there's only one book left in the series!

I'm really enjoying this audiobook. A little bit of humor, but the connection and "real talk" between Min and Cal is a little refreshing. I also love that we get at least one side bonus relationship, possible two. Who knows what's going on with Liza & Tony?

I'm enjoying this paranamoral, gender-swapped Robin Hood retelling so far. Not sure about the fox and dragon shifter pairing though...

I know this is from like 20 years ago, but when people get corsets wrong it bothers me.

I thought the whole, I'm going to become a hunter, was silly and didn't really make much sense. I thought Rose was supposed to be smarter than the choices she's making?
