Well, not the kind of con I was expecting...

There's a little bit of the "not like other girls" going on and I don't like so much smack talk about "cleat chasers." The way she talks about her virginity sometimes is a little outdated too, but that also gets us to the premise of her learning her body, self and being with another person in all aspects. I'm loving Lane though (outside of the cleat chaser comments).

Ellie Cahill is becoming one of my top rom-com authors. She actually makes me laugh out loud (which lets be honest is pretty easy as long as it's not stoner humor).

Having so much fun with my reread via graphic audio. The start of this one hurts with Kate getting stood up, but once again we meet a lot of characters here! Our lovely hell hound poodle & Erra! A great reread for a snowy day!

I think I'm going to switch to the audio since physically reading isn't happening right now. The meet was cute, although I think I was more frustrated than our Hero about Alisha STANDING ON FOSSILS!!!

My heart hurts so much for Beth. I find it weird though that really only Layla and Hutch have only noticed that Beth's struggling. With how close her and Austin were in the previous book I'm suprised he hasn't noticed something and at least tried to broach how she is (even if she'd paste on a fake smile). I also don't understand how a pediatrician and nurses could be so horrible.

My heart goes out to everything that Gracie went through behind the scenes. There's been a lot in the news that was speculated but not confirmed, but it's heartbreaking to hear it in her own words. I'm even more inspired by Gracie's strength.
