I coudn't let myself get to into this yesterday since I had a lot of chores to do, but best believe tonight after work this will become my life. There's a little myth told before the prologue and after just reading that my fantasy vibes were at full bore. So excited to dig into Juliette's return to fantasy!

I was busy last night so not much reading time, but I am struggling to get into this. I don't know if the writing style or what but I'm nervous about how this is going to go since I'm finally just coming out of a slump.

An intriguing start with a portal fantasy. Wasn't quite sure what I was getting myself into outside of maybe some Arthurian influences.

I'm really enjoying the light supernatural vibes with psychics and "dreaming of you" and maybe a friendly ghostie. Nervous about if the over 400 pages will start to drag, but I'm enjoying my time so far!

Still iffy on Lexi sometimes and her choices, but I'm love everyone else. Another great cast of characters. Lexi is starting to grow on me, though...

This just isn't quite doing it for me. It's not bad enough that I should consider dnf-ing though (something I rarely do).

Two-thirds through the book and we've only just had the first kiss. I don't mind slow burn but I want them to at least be a couple. I'm feeling very blah towards Olive. Just not connecting at all.

So... I don't know how I'm feeling here. I feel like we should've either pushed past the not knowing each other quicker or had them start developing a personal relationship quicker while the internet one is still hidden. I feel kind of meh about the fact that they still aren't together yet. I have some other nit picks too, but we'll see how things play out...

Loving the graphic audio. Upon reread I'm also enjoying this book a lot more than I did the first time (even knowing what's to come). Although Curran's still aggravating me. >_<

The meet cute before they know who each other are was kind of cute, but I was confused he had the gumption to cut in line like that and nobody else complained?

Starting my reread via Graphic Audio! Not ready to be gutted AGAIN at the big fight at the end.

I’m really enjoying this so far. The only thing that’s irked me is calling romance smut a few times and a joke about it being “pornography” As a romance novel I don’t expect there to be degradations of romance. But I also think the “reclamation” of “smut” is nonsense because it wasn’t part of romance to begin with. That’s a soap box for another day though…

The Graphic Audios are so much fun! Forgot that this was the one where Kate and Curran are together the entire time. One of my faves!

I'm really enjoying my time with Mac and Carter. Also excited to be reading my first Nora Roberts!

This is hitting so many of the things I love about sci-fi romances!
