I do not like this love interest. He prides himself on seducing servants who are not overtly interested, but he actually waits for consent so that's okay. Except NOT because they're servants and that makes consent more complicated. Also, why the fuck would the heroine be into this guy creeping on her when she's trying to work and getting her fired? No way.

Strong The Sun Is Also a Star vibes so far. I think I'd like it a bit more if it were a trifle less literary, but it's good.
