I was making fun of this book incessantly as soon as it was announced as the Oprah Book Club pick but now I can't put it down

I'm at the part where (spoilers) Jude needs to get his legs amputated, and the antibiotics are giving him nightmares that he's being abused again and Willem is holding him and telling him everything that's good and true about his life to comfort him and I. Can't. I Cannot. Too many tears.

I'm annoyed people keep comparing this to Gone Girl. It's much better than Gone Girl.

I know everything after this chapter is probably insanely depressing but this book is a delight
