Mooneater is on page 65 of 249 of The Ruins of Gorlan (Ranger's Apprentice, #1)
I think that the major theme is that everyone has a place in the world because Will is rejected by most of the schools because he has almost no skills in that area of study. However, he is accepted into a special school because he is fast and good at blending in with his surroundings.

So far I don't know much about Montag but he seems like a person that simply does as he is told and doesn't follow his emotions. I look forward to learning more about him and "watching" him change as a character.

On page 23 It describes Fortuity as a man with a "long face and hawkish nose" this helps me visualize him in my mind.

I do not like Chlorr because he is killing tons of innocent people to create an army of zombies to kill even more innocent people and to destroy the kingdom that the characters live on.

The theme so far in the book is loneliness I know this because Lirael is different from everyone else in the Clayr. Instead of being light-haired, light-eyed and tan skinned she is pale and has dark hair and eyes. She also didn't get the Sight (ability to see the future) like evryone else there at age 12. She think about running away at one point because she is so different from everyone else.

Max is fighting robots (dubbed FlyBoys by Gasman) that want to kill her and she keeps fighting because she wants to live so that she can see Gasman, Iggy and Fang who split off from the rest of the flock earlier in the book.

During the previous book in the series one of the characters, Angel, becomes very attached to a stuffed bear that she named Charlotte. During the book she forces Max and the others to go back to places they had just fled from in order to retrieve Charlotte.

Max's attitude has changed because they found out where to find the rest of the flocks' parents and she is starting to be less pessimistic.

I think that Jamie, as a rapper, would be closest to Macklemore because before he joined Department 19 and became famous within the British government nobody knew he was or even gave him a second thought. Macklemore was also like this because he grew up in a normal household but he became popular after releasing "Thrift Shop".

I think that this series of books would make a great movie series, but the movies would probably be rated PG-13 due to the amount of blood and fighting there is. I think it would make a good movie because there is action but it isn't mindless violence, there is a real reason behind what they are doing. Currently, the characters are trying to stop Count Dracula from completely recovering his powers after resurrection.

If I were to eat a cookie with this book it would probably be a store bought sugar cookie because the characters just left a chemist's house and store bought sugar cookies are loaded with artificial flavorings and chemicals.

I think that if Julian were to partner up with a character from another book it would probably be Jace Herondale from the Mortal Instruments series because Jace has experience fighting with supernatural creatures such as vampires and Julian needs to find and slay a vampire, Alexandru, in order to save his mother.

If the author asked me to give this book another title I would probably tell him not to change it because the title fits the book very well.

I think that if Alek were to go on a vacation it would be back to Austria or to the Alps because he is the heir to the Austrian Empire and owns a castle in the Alps.

If this book were a movie I think it would probably be rated PG because there are a lot of things that little kids wouldn't understand like politics and why Alek's parents were assassinated. Also, there is a lot of fighting but nothing bloody so far.

I think that if Alek were in the Hunger Games he would get decently far but wouldn't win because although he can sword fight he isn't very fast and doesn't know what is edible and what isn't. He knows that he would need to make an alliance quick and would show off his skill with a sword in order to get a high ranking and possibly a spot among the Careers.

If Deryn had a job in the real world I think it would be a pilot in the Air Force because she used to like going up in hot air balloons with her dad before he died in an accident that set the balloon part of the hot air balloon on fire. In this series she feels as if she has to keep her father's legacy going by disguising herself as a boy in order to become a member of the British Air Force.

If the main character, Deryn were to be put in jail it would be for cutting the rope on the flying creature she was riding because the wet rope was weighing it down and they were about to run into a wall in the middle of a thunderstorm.

I don't think that it would be better because the vocabulary and style of writing he uses fit very well with this book. The way he words some of his sentences adds suspense and other sentences are very descriptive.

I think that if someone were to score music for this book it would be dark and mysterious. This book is very mysterious with lots of twists and turns in the plot. This book kind of surprised me because Will is almost always with Dr. Warthrop but one day Dr. Warthrop just leaves to go somewhere and is missing for the next four months when the person he left with telegrams back that the doctor is dead. Will learns

I have to say there is nothing I have been through that could even make Will stop for more than a few seconds. He is about my age but he has been through far worse than I have. He lost his parents in a house fire sometime before the first book and his seen several very gruesome sights during his adventures with Dr. Warthrop. I have no experiences that Will can't brush off as if it were nothing.
