Power of mindset:

I'm not dumb; I just feel dumb right now

The point is that the physical architecture of the brain changes according to where we direct our attention and what we practice doing.

Th point is to challenge your children to think about they act, and to consider the implications of their decisions. In doing so, you give your kids practice thinking through moral and ethical principles

As you teach them about honest, generosity, kindness and respect, make sure that they see you living a life that embodies those values as well.

When kids can make sound decisions while controlling themselves and working from empathy and self-understanding, they will develop a robust and active sense of morality

People say "Give the customers what they want." But that's not my approach. Our job is figure out what they're going to want before they do.

Firstly, when someone isn’t that emotional about what you’re doing, it’s pretty unlikely that they’re going to end up being one of the people who is crazy enough to be your first customer. Keep them on the list, but don’t count on them to write the first check.

You may know what the market cares about, but figuring out what’s unique about this particular person feels. It will make the rest of the conversation much smoother, increases your chances of closing the deal, and also gives you ongoing learning even after you've got a product.
