I said I wasn't going to read it but I've succumbed to peer pressure. Why do I feel I might regret this?!

It started out so well and then stuff happened.
So far it's like a mix of Beauty and the Beast, Twilight and The Hunger Games. I'm not sure I'm here for it but I'll keep going.

This book is ripping off so many other books. Page 146 for example he takes her to a library, whilst she's a captive, and tells her she can take what she likes. Beauty and the Beast much? Then there's the houses in the trees which reminded me of Star Wars.

Things are starting to get rolling now! But Sydney will get in trouble for sure. Hopefully Adrian will find her in time!

Her character description is terrible

I feel like the author is just listing the characters thoughts "...the ground surges toward me, growing and expanding, or I surge toward the ground..." Its infuriating and boring.

Im reading online so I have no idea what page number it is. Anyway I skipped to where she jumps because I've seen the movie so I know that back story and how dumb it is.

There's something different about the way she's written this one.

just wow. this book is the only book I've read that has a hilarious and heartbreaking scene AT THE SAME TIME.

"you don't even have my number" "i strongly suspect you wrote it in the book." THAT is why this book is amazing. He writes with such flow and humour. I can already tell this is gonna be a favourite book.

I can tell that this author doesn't live or have a clue about England. "Dance clubs" we just call them clubs. "London Times" there is no newspaper called that! try the Metro, always on tubes. My point is, if you're gonna write a novel set somewhere try and get it right.
