Petrified by Ivanna Mendels: again I enjoyed this but again I felt like it could have been refined. The basis for the story was interesting. I was a little confused at the end why the characters couldn't see what was in front of them.

The Chamber of Souls by z.m. quỳnh Intriguing. Kept my interest throughout. Felt writing style was like high school short story. Could have done with a little more editing/refining. Nevertheless, wanted to know what happened next.

(84%) so tired but kept reading as I was hooked! who needs sleep...

(62%) Absolutely amazing. Also great to see female friendships included. Made me yearn for it a bit! Also felt warm towards the Djinni.

I am glad that someone recommended this book to me.

Quería leer un libro que fue escrito originalmente en español y que no he leído nunca en inglés, después de leí El Castillo Ambulante. Pero ayer, empecé a leer las primeras páginas de este libro y no parece DEMASIADO difícil. Así que ahora he comprado el libro. ¡Deséenme suerte!

En el capítulo uno, cuando no sabía una palabra, no es importa porque es fácil utilizar el contexto para entender. En este capítulo era más difícil, y si no he leído este libro en inglés tantos tiempos, creo que me hubiera confundido más.

I'm enjoying this adapting to ordinary life bit so much I'm kinda disappointed to think it's going to become about some epic battle or mystery or something as it says in the blurb. Guess we'll see.

The acknowledgements section is always worth a read in these sorts of books to see what went into making it, and this one is no exception.

It's done. Ta da! The remaining pages are citations and footnotes and stuff. :)

This "conclusion" section seems like a good idea, to review what has been discovered through the book. But really it feels a bit redundant tbh. Good jokes though!
